Terms of service

Welcome to JUMAMA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit jumamabirdnest.com or buy from our online store (together, the "Store"). The Store is operated by Siam Ju Birdnest Co., Ltd. (บริษัท สยาม จู รังนก จำกัด), trading as JUMAMA ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. Please read them before you order.

1. Using the Store

  • You must be at least 20 years old (the age of majority in Thailand), or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.
  • Please give us accurate details, including your name, phone number and delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information.
  • You may not use the Store for anything unlawful, to resell our products without our written agreement, or to interfere with the website or its security.

2. Our products

  • We sell Thai edible bird's nest from carefully selected, trusted sources, cleaned in our own workshop and graded in-house. It is sold as dry bird's nest, ready-to-drink bottled bird's nest and freshly stewed bird's nest.
  • Bird's nest is a natural product. Shape, colour, size and texture vary between nests, and product photos are for illustration. Small natural differences are not a defect.
  • Weights for dry bird's nest are dry weights, measured before soaking.
  • Bird's nest is a food, not a medicine. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, have a food allergy or a medical condition, please check with your doctor before eating bird's nest. Always read the ingredients and storage instructions on the label.

3. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Thai Baht (THB). Delivery fees, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • We may change prices, products and promotions at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
  • If a price or product description is clearly wrong because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it has been confirmed.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.

4. Orders

  • Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, we cannot deliver to your address, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
  • We may limit quantities per customer, particularly for promotions and limited items.

5. Delivery

  • Dry and bottled bird's nest can be shipped across Thailand. Freshly stewed bird's nest is delivered within Bangkok only.
  • Delivery times shown are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays or other events outside our control.
  • Please make sure someone is available to receive your order, especially freshly stewed items, which must be refrigerated as soon as they arrive. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Because our products are food, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or with a quality problem, please follow our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Storage and use

Please store and prepare our products as instructed on the label and product page. We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect storage, handling or preparation after delivery, or by eating a product after its expiry date.

8. Promotions and discount codes

Discount codes and promotions have their own conditions and end dates. Unless we say otherwise, they cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to past orders. We may withdraw a code that is being misused.

9. Reviews and comments

If you send us reviews, photos or comments, you confirm they are your own and truthful, and you allow us to use them on our website and social media to promote JUMAMA. We may remove any content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.

10. Intellectual property

The JUMAMA name and logo (จูมะม้า, 珠妈妈), and all text, photos, videos and designs on the Store belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.

11. Third-party services

The Store is hosted by Shopify, and we use third parties for payments, delivery and messaging (such as LINE). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

12. Limitation of liability

We take great care with every order. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under Thai law, including the Consumer Protection Act, or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the courts of Thailand have jurisdiction over any dispute.
